The ATLAS Beta Program is an exclusive offering available to virtual airlines subscribed to the Max and Ultra tiers. This program provides virtual airlines with the opportunity to access and explore experimental features before their official release. By participating in the beta program, virtual airlines can contribute valuable feedback and help shape the development of new features within ATLAS.

Enabling the Beta program

To join the beta program, virtual airline administrators can navigate to the VA Details page within ATLAS. From there, they can toggle on the beta program to gain access to the latest experimental features.

Beta Features

At present, the beta program offers access to the following experimental feature:

  1. ATC Mode: ATC Mode is an advanced feature that allows virtual airlines to designate members as both pilots and air traffic controllers. This feature enhances coordination and realism within the virtual airline community by enabling members to submit control time and announce open frequencies.

The ATLAS team is continuously working on developing and refining new features to enhance the virtual airline experience. As part of the beta program, virtual airlines can expect the addition of more experimental features in the future.
